The thing about a-ha is that they aren’t just some one hit wonder, they’ve made 9 fantastic albums, all with classic tracks and in my opinion never produced what I’d call a ‘bad’ song, not even an ‘average’ one for that matter. They’ve experimented beyond the 80’s synth they are known for and have some truly amazing songs. Songs like Analogue, Velvet, Summer Moved On, Lifelines and most recently The Bandstand are a mere taste of what they’ve produced. If you only know a-ha for Take On Me then you don’t really know them at all.
